| Off-Road Motorcycle Accident In A Remote Area |

George Hildebran Fire/Rescue First Responders were dispatched to an off-road motorcycle accident around 10:30 AM. After recieving further information about the location of the patient, GH fire personnel were dispatched for a possible carry-out. First arriving units were briefed by family members who told firefighters that the patient was riding a dirt-bike approximately 1/4 mile into a wooded area when he struck a tree injuring his leg and rist. The command post was setup at the residence closest to the accident. GHFR personnel and EMS paramedics walked into the scene with the necesary equipment for a carry-out.. Lovelady ATV Team 4 was dispatched to assist with the operations. After EMS assessed the patient's injuries the decision was made to air lift the patient from the scene. MedCenter Air was contacted and given coordinants to a field near the accident scene. Firefighters carried the patient to the LZ where he and his mother flew to the nearest Trauma Center.
