George Hildebran Fire Rescue recently received a grant through the North Carolina Office of State Fire Marshall to become a permanent child seat checking station. The grant allowed us to acquire materials such as a fold up tent, chairs, scales to weigh the children and other items to aid us during seat checks. We also received one “Permanent Checking Station” sign from the Office of State Fire Marshall to identify George Hildebran Fire Rescue as a permanent seat checking station and a second one to give information on hours of operation.
